Dr. Luis Ferrer

 

 

Obtained his Bachelors in Science (B.S.) at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana (1984). In 1988 graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and Dentistry obtaining  his D.M.D. From 1988-1991 completed a Post Doctoral training  in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus and San Juan Municipal Hospitals. In 1992 completed a Fellowship in Orthognathic and Reconstructive Maxillofacial Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

 

Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology (NDBA), Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FAAOMS), Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FACOMS), Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofaicial Surgery (FIAOMS), and Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA).

 

Dr. Ferrer-Nuin is section chief of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at HIMA-San Pablo Hospital in Bayamon, PR, and Partner at Cirugia Oral Y Maxillofacial Clinica Las Americas in Hato Rey, PR.
